Lists with This Book. Apr 13, Booknut rated it liked it Shelves: Me after reading the book: I loved the first book and was dying to find out what happened. She’s not even meant to be alive! So I ehner being pessimistic and brooding is apart of the perks of being saved and having a guardian angel!
Smashwords – Knight Angels: Book of Revenge (Book Two) – a book by Abra Ebner
It was horrible and I’m not ashamed to say it. It really WAS that bad it’s not just my obsessive fangirling streak!
I can’t believe how sudden it was. And then it’s like: My new favourite hate – the acknowledgements page!: View all 3 comments. May 27, Cristy rated it really liked it Shelves: This is definitely character driven bok telling, although I didn’t feel as strong a connection to Jane this go around.
I did find myself much more interested in Emily, as her and Wes grow as a couple and as individuals. We also get to see a previously minor character emerge to the forefront with some interesting supernat Wow!.
We also get to see a previously minor character emerge to the sbra with some interesting supernatural gifts. I really enjoyed the unique spin Ebner has put on some of paranormal creatures, breaking from the classic stereo types we have abrw to expect from such creatures. Along with the Max history lesson, we are introduced to Avery, the new sassy Villain in town and Max’s jilted ex. Avery does not disappoint as every bit the cold calculating, vindictive and scorned woman out for revenge that nightmares are made of.
Being just as beautiful as she is vengeful making her disturbingly dangerous. All in all, this sequel is very well done, with well rounded characters and a strong flowing storyline that keep the reader hooked. Nov 03, Terri rated it did not like it.
Jul 23, Jennifer rated it really liked it Shelves: Lf all 4 comments. I feel so gypped! The first one was really good and gave a great setup and this was one followed suit so nicely!
And then eebner ending came and is still leaving me hanging on a cliff which is totally and completely ironic if you think about it, those of you who have read this.

And the worst part is, there’s nothing anywhere to tell me when the next one is coming out. Which means it’s either a long time from now, which will kill me. Or it’s going to be like a surprise or something, in which case I feel so gypped!
Or it’s going to be like a surprise or something, in which case I’ll be mad. So either way, I’m kind of pissed. I really liked the introduction of the newest character to the paranormal family: Although he’s not your normal vampire. Apparently, human blood tastes disgusting and they’re not actually immortal. Interesting twist there, though I’m not sure if I like it or not. I’m really interested in the blue veil he has that keeps drawing Emily in.
I also feel like it has something to do with the ending. Sorry to be cryptic here, but you’ll get it once you read it. I wish Jane and Max could just do it!! It’s killing me with all this sexual tension.
Though now it’s going to be nearly impossible Final words for those of you who haven’t read it, if you haven’t read the first one you’ll be lost.
I read some reviews where people actually read this one before the other one, which makes no sense! Anyway, great second installment and I hope the third one comes out fast. Someone explain this to me. How could Revenhe have not been feeling all her ebber which he’s so intune with?
Obviously it isn’t over because that chain around his neck didn’t break, but I don’t understand how he’s going to fix this. Seriously, she has some issues, which makes her perfect for Greg And on top of that, Wes has a sister now. Whoo, so glad I got that off my chest; I had to tell someone. But seriously, so much drama. And I can’t wait to see what happens next. The ending confused me. I know Jane died, and Avery appeared to her in the Ever After and she figured out the deception.
Knight Angels: Book of Revenge (Book Two)
Jane’s mom’s been saved, and apparently she’s known all along what Emily and Jane and their dad were. What I don’t understand is the owl thing. Stella or Missy gets her skull squished by Avery, but goes into this veil of blue light and is saved somehow. It makes me think Jake has something to do with it, but how?
And who’s the girl she inhabited? I pray it’s not Jane’s body, because that would be really awkward and kind of creepy.
Which makes me wonder what’s going to happen to Jane and how she’s going to be alive again. There must be a chance, but how? It makes me sad that Jane and Max can’t have sex, especially when they obviously want to so badly. And now that she’s dead, that issue is obviously going on the backburner It just makes me sad because their soul mates and now Jane’s dead and it all seems so impossible.
I know I’m being overly dramatic, but I just can’t let this go. They should be together! Ugh so many things to think about with this one!
Like Max’s father turns out to be the guy his mom was having an affait with, and Greg knew about it and that’s why he killed his parents in the fire.
And Max is just finding this out now, way after the fact. It made me feel bad for Greg for like 5 seconds, and then he went into cahoots with Avery and lost his miniscule browney points. Really and truly can’t wait for the next one Give us a ballpark estimate here, Abra! Apr 12, La Femme Readers rated it it was amazing. The first installment in the Knight Angels series, Book of Love, fixated me as though I was under a spell.
The follow-up, Book of Revenge awakened my admiration for Abra’s delightful writing. Its visual storytelling quality and distinguished characters took me through the stages of a well-executed sequel.
Before I start explaining the plot, nothing in this review spoils Book of Love, so if you are interested in reading the Knight Angels series, the twists and turns will come as a surprise.
Continued in numerous narratives, I was once again engulfed in the lives of Max, Jane, Emily and Wes.
