The book is well written and presented in simple, easy to understand language. But for busy people, they may find the first few chapters repeating the why aspect of “Chirunning”.

It does cover every aspects of chirunning but author may deliberately leave this to their dvd which explains the how aspect of chirunning which is core of the subject.

If revolytionary knows your objective well and want chirunning to be your running form, you can simple go the “dvd” route. Very good guidance with simple easy to understand explanation not complicated medical terms. Effective since day one practice! Combined with my love for barefoot running, this book makes perfect sense to me.

If I were a beginner, I think I would have trouble with the concepts. Very wordy, but I also like the depth of information. Some of the visuals could be better, but they explain that the visuals should actually be unique to each person and in their mind.

For the advanced runner, that makes perfect sense This book is awesome. I was introduced to this by a co-worker!

He actually lent me his book, but I felt that I had, had it for too long so I ordered a new one for myself and am sooooo glad I did. This book is actually a newer version then he had and so I am benefiting from all the additions as well.

Running hasalways been very challenging for me, but since I started reading this book and trying new things I find it getting easier. I just wish now that I had more time to focus on learning to run! I am getting out at least 3 times a week right now, so i guess i shouldn’t complain.

It wasn’t long ago that I wasn’t getting anytime at all. In what time I have been running since I started th is study my running has improved! Which is huge for me. Just always remember one step at a time!!! I think Danny Dreyer is on to something! As an senior runner I have noticed that I use less energy and am more injury free after implementing the running techniques described in this book.
