I really enjoyed this book. All three series center around a special place for kids who have qualities or skills that most other vollainous do not have.
Higher Institute of Villainous Educationby Mark Villaknous, is the first in a so far seven-book young-adult series of novels that borrows from the well-traveled genre tropes that gave us the three books I mentioned a few paragraphs ago. The arrival of new student Lucy Dexter causes some confusion among the students, although they quickly befriend her.
I may read the sequel, since I’ve been told that “stuff actually happens” in it. Nero, Raven and the students narrowly escape, but Diabolus Darkdoom is left behind and enemy agents that are sent after them.
But I’ll agree that it was a good way to band the educatiob together against imminent peril, and reconcile Otto and Nero, if only a bit.
