Learn more about Amazon Prime. That is saying something because I read quite a few books! Not because of the book itself, but because of how I feel about myself after having read the book, which I suppose is a comment on the book itself. Fix My Life that answers the question: I needed help in changing my view and attitude about M I read this book a while ago. She infuses this reading of her own book with the cadences of a revival preacher on a Sunday morning.
If you are not willing to surrender, if you insist on struggling in the name of love, love will let you struggle. You sit in one and visualize the person you want to talk to, or write that person’s name on a piece of paper and place it face up in the other chair. In the basement, you have not been paying attention to what is coming up in you or going on around you. I read this book the first time inI’d taken a self prescribed sabbatical from dating to embark on a journey of self discovery.
The love and appreciation that I feel for Iyanla Vanzant for sharing her stories and her life is immeasureable. This book has helped me get through personal loss, tragedy, transitions, and many other “meantime” experiences for several years now. Jun 17, Rya Jenae’ rated it it was amazing. I find that I always return to the wisdom of Iyanla’s words – some resonate with me right away and some resonate at different times.
I also liked that often times we’d be in a chapter of a higher level in the house, but one of the examples called to mind the behavior of a lower level, the author acknowledging that in life one can move down the staircase of consciousness just as much as up it. I would recommend this book to anyone that feels like they can’t start over.

If we do th good job of it, the light will come through. You may not connect to all the stories but will be able to relate to one. When you love yourself everything else falls into place.
No matter what you get in return for the love you give, know that you are protected. People will give you things, opportunities, resources, their time and energy in response to the amount of love ln have for yourself, and the amount of love you give others.

However, when loving someone is yhe you tye or putting your own life in jeopardy, you must learn to surrender.

As with most of her writings I can never say that I’ve finished reading the book because my personal growth journey leads me to different places at different times. It outlines how you need to clean each floor of your house one at a time, each relating to a different type of issue you may need to face in order to maximize your life, build up your relationship with yourself so you can be open to others in your life.
You know exactly what you want in life, but what you want is nowhere in sight.
